It is organized by Prof. Christoph Stippich, MD, Vice-president of the Swiss Society of Neuroradiology and Chair of the OHBM Alpine Chapter.
The Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) is an important international scientific organization dedicated to advancing the understanding of the anatomical and functional organization of the human brain.
The mission of the Alpine Chapter is to further advance the brain imaging community in the alpine region by organization of educational events on human brain mapping and applied techniques, by fostering scientific discussions and cooperations between institutions and by enhancing the international visibility of regional activities including latest developments in multimodal advanced neuroimaging. This shall also stimulate multicenter scientific chapter studies. The chapter also aims at fostering translational knowledge and applications of imaging tools into clinical practice, building particularly on its comprehensive expertise with clinical fMRI. The chapter provides also rich links with basic and clinical fields in neuroscience, and different brain imaging modalities.
The 5th OHBM Alpine Chapter Symposium will be fully synergistic to the SFCNS conference, should be of high interest for clinicians and researchers of all participating neurosocieties and will focus on the following topics:
